Marte and Jupiter are sister and brother and they could never be separated.
They belonged to people who wanted to breed with them.
But Marte's pelvis was broken. Sure there was no veterinary possibilities for her. She had to suffer a lot with the pain she had. With this "problem" she could not get babies. And her faithful brother Jupiter (we call him Bolle) had been always at her side.
He did not go hunting, although the people bet him like hell to do so.
At the end they decided one day to kill the both dogs. They were hung up on a tree.
And there are 2 traditional possibilities how to hang up a dog on a tree in Spain: The first is to hang a dog up in a way that they neck brokes directly. Or they are hung up so that their points of the toe could touch the earth.
They did so with Marte and Jupiter and for heaven's sake they were found at the right time.
Today they are living satiesfied and happy at our Finca Lucendum.
